Description

As we are still all stuck at home, our computers/laptops have taken up an increasingly dominant role in our lives. I wanted to track my app usage for this project, but I encountered a few technical hurdles and could not find a way to reliably track my app usage. I, therefore, decided to track the total time I spend in front of my laptop.

Each semi-circle represents a day, with the innermost one being the weekly average. A full circle would represent 24h. The semi-circles' swirling represents the kind of hypnotic effect our screens have on us and the endless rabbit holes we find ourselves going into.

Reflection

I spend way too much time in front of my computer, an average of almost 11h is definetly not healthy! While I think the visualization is pretty successfull I don't think it perfectly convay how much 10,11 or 12 hours really are.
